Myrna Stresman
1928 - 2014
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and longstanding member Myrna. She held the record of being the lady member of the club since the club's formation as the Model A Ford Club in 1963. For all those years, Myrna was an enthusiastic passenger with Husband Don and, in the early years their four children, Steve, David, Heather and Lana. They toured in the 1931 Model A Ford (that is still in the club), a 1939 Chevrolet, the 1956 Dodge and the Jeeps that Don had lovingly restored. She was always considerate and upbeat and as can be seen in her countenance in this picture, cheerful. She was interested in members' family news, always inquiring about children and grandchildren. We will miss her accompanying us on our tours and at special events in the club life. In keeping with the Stresman family style, ACCP members have been asked to assemble our vintage cars in the cortege following the funeral service to the cemetery. It will be our honour to do so.
