Points were awarded for each infraction on the course, which included hitting a pylon, missing a pylon, or having to reverse direction in order to clear a pylon. I must add the passenger in each vehicle had to hold an egg on a spoon with their arm out the window. The course was run in a field with a few good-sized bumps on it and surprisingly not one person dropped their egg. The final task was to park as close to a barrier as possible without touching it and points were awarded for each inch you were away from the barrier. The top three finishers had clean runs and parked, 3, 4, and 5 inches away respectively. A great deal of fun was had by all who participated and I’m sure there will be a few guys out practicing for next year. So watch out Jeff and Kathy you may have some stiffer competition next time around.
